Paria Valley II
This work is part of an ongoing original series I call “Travel Art”. I love to take along a small art kit whenever I travel. Each piece in this series has it’s own story. It may have been created at 30,000 feet, in a quiet corner of an airport during a layover, or on a café table in Mexico. The handwritten story of this work is affixed to the back of the work and is as follows: This Christmas Day in 2022 found me sitting in a relative’s home at a handmade table, the beauty of Southern Utah all around us. The Paria Valley offers red rock wonders you have to see to believe, and the many visits over the years have formed my faith. With the smell of cooking turkey wafting through the air, I worked to recall the shapes, colors, and textures that I love exploring. This mixed media art is approximately 4” x 6”. It is displayed in a black metal frame with a 1 3/8" depth. Free shipping. Scroll down to see video of piece.
